Hi,

Writing and penning down my thoughts as well as sharing them has been one of my passion for some time; especially on subjects that I love. With today’s technology, what better way to do this then to start a blog/webpage to this effect. Ezinspirations is about all things that inspire me, all things that allow me to live my life to the fullest and all things that will make each day a better and more successful one than the day before. I certainly hope it will inspire you too!

I’ve had a successful career spanning more than 2 decades starting as a Sales Engineer in Hewlett Packard selling Test & Measurement products and then moving on to become Marketing Manager (Industrial Control) in Rockwell Automation. In the last 10 years, I had the opportunity to head up a German Company, located in Singapore and overlooking the SE Asian region. I’ve also had a short stint running my own “brick & mortar” business with an ex-HP colleague and while this stint was short, it probably taught me the most.

In my career span, I’ve encountered many successful individuals / companies and even more not-so-successful individuals. I’ve learned a lot along the way from most of these people I’ve encountered, both positive as well as negative. I’ve also been fortunate to be sent for lots of training, especially during my stint in Hewlett Packard and Rockwell Automation and I’ve invested in training on my own accord as well.

Starting up the German multi-national company from scratch was my greatest challenge and it took everything I’ve learnt over the years as well as many additional hours of training, sweat and tears. Now that the company has grown from a S$2.5M company in 1999 to S$43M in 2007, I could look back and smile as well as reflect on the many mistakes I’ve made along the way. In the process, I’ve learnt what SUCCESS means to me and how we can PRIORITISE our daily activities to ensure SUCCESS!

Living SUCCESSFULLY also means having a balanced life. As the saying goes, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!”. I’ve been fortunate to have a curious mind, developing an interest in all kinds of activities and things. However, nothing beats being next to NATURE, enjoying this wonderful place our creator has given us! Here are some pictures of what I indulge in whenever I find the time to “relax” a little.
